"Mom, take a picture of Catniss". We can't help it, we think she's wonderful. 😇

Her Highness

Bought new sink faucets thinking maybe I could install them myself. As usual, roped Nate into it anyway. 😅
...shhhh, don't tell him but I want to try a different style on the main kitchen sink. I just hate the idea of trying to live with something that turns out to be a bigger hassle than what we had before, just because the idea of redo-ing the 30 minutes of labor is not fun.

Family Game Time. Cards Against Humanity (family edition) is one of the only games that can draw the ENTIRE family. It's SO funny.

Got to see Les Miserables in Eugene with Nate, Kelly & Josh, and Dad. The other three sat across the theater due to not finding 5 seats together. So it was a very brief hello-and-goodbye with the Richardsons. The play was amazing, as expected! Jean Valjean's final note of Bring Him Home was sung acapella, to an absolutely silent audience with bated breath, while he hung that note out foreeeeever, and then at the end increased his volume and power. It was one of the most incredible feats of singing ever.

After, Nate and I introduced Dad to the Fisherman's Market, for some yummy seafood.

Asher's Juvenile Rheumatologist, Dr. Kingsbury, saw Asher for a follow-up. He said he wanted to have bloodwork done again because the results about the arthritis gene were inconclusive on the last one. Poor Asher gets so much blood work! We told the Dr. that Asher has bloodwork orders from his Dermatologist as well, which he hadn't done yet. We wondered if there is a way to combine them. Dr. Kingsbury assured us that his bloodwork orders would MORE than cover whatever the dermatologist  wanted. Asher joked, "want to bet?" because it would be just his luck that he'd still need blood work done again separately.

Dr. Kingsbury laughed and told Asher he would take that bet. He bet Asher a dollar that his orders would have everything (and more) that the dermatologist wanted. When Asher said he didn't have a dollar on him, Dr. K was so confident, he said he'd make it 10-to1, so Asher would only owe him a dime if he lost.

I was able to get Brennan, at home, to find, and photograph the other bloodwork orders so we could combine them. Guess who came home a dollar richer from his Dr.s appt? 😂😂😂 Dr. Kingsbury may have been around for a while, but Asher knows his luck, haha.
