Things About The Kids
Last New Year's Eve we went to the Brewster's home for their annual game-night party. Among the contests was a pull up bar. I tell you what, Kieran is a pull-up warrior! I don't know where that power came from, but he totally showed up many an adult. He's also pretty great at the piano - when he chooses to try. ;-) I recently discovered Asher can do handstands. Like, effortlessly. He thought everybody could do them, and had therefore never thought it worth mentioning. Hollyn started gymnastics a couple weeks ago. I think she's had 3 classes, plus she attended "open gym" last Friday. I think she's really going to pick this up fast. She is working hard and truly delighting in it. I don't know how long the other kids in her class have been doing this, but she was clearly the only newbie in this level one class that just started after Spring Break.
