Happy Groundhog Day 2019
Nate, who isn't feel well, is conked out on the couch, while on the stairs landing ALL FIVE kids are playing Legos together. The meatloaf is in the oven, the mashed potatoes have been whipped. Aaron Copeland is playing on the speakers. So naturally I'm a little weirded out. Something about this is a little *too perfect*. Better watch my back, amiright? 😬
I often think about how badly I need to get back into the blogging. After all, it's my family journal, essentially. And I dropped off right after our huge family changes. I could never go back and tell all the stories from the last year, but I sure can cram a million pictures into a bunch of posts! Sooooo, be forewarned!
* Lovely afternoon at the Aquarium and beach yesterday. Mom came too (actually, her idea) and we had fun popping in to visit the otters, seals, sea birds, and sharks. All the animals were unusually active and the crowds were the smallest ever. Thanks Corvallis for the no school day on a Thursday (possible weather makeup day, unneeded).
* Facebook showed a memory the other day from 7 years ago, of Brennan and Clara. Kieran thought it was a picture of himself. All the teachers at Adams say, "oh my gosh, he looks just like Brennan!" Lol. We took photo for reference.
* Happy 11th Birthday Asher! In celebration, the boys all got their hair done!
* The kids generally pair off when they play: Brennen/Asher, Hollyn/Kieran, Hollyn/Kylea. So it sort of surprised me to find Asher and Hollyn enjoying a board game together. Awww.
