Here's a Story, of a Boy Named Kieran...
One recent evening I found the TV in its rare unattended/unused state, and jumped at the chance to pick out something I enjoy. I selected Bye Bye Birdie. Kieran wandered out to see what was playing and I explained the premise to him. He decided that sounded interesting and snuggled in to watch it with me. Eventually everyone else took a turn coming to watch it for a few minutes and would laugh for a funny scene, but then would wander back to whatever they were doing. But Kieran stuck around. When it was late enough for him to be sent to bed, I asked him if he was interested in it enough that he wanted me to pause it so we could finish it together and he said he was. A couple days later he reminded me that we hadn't yet finished Bye Bye Birdie so we did. When the movie ended, Amazon Prime Video suggested The Brady Bunch for us. I told Kieran that the show was relatable since it's about a blended family. We watched the first episode (the wedding) and Kieran thought it was hilario...
