 I super enjoy biking home with these elementary kids!  #skillz In case you're wondering about the results, playing video games while trying to remember the contents of a tray of objects had essentially zero effect on one's ability to recall them 5 minutes later, compared to spending the same amount of time with no distractions trying to remember. Technically, the video game playing results did one object better! (Each participant did it both ways) I overheard one Mom arguing with Asher that maybe if he'd just done the test for longer or something like that, that the results would have turned out differently... mom bias, lol. #moreskillz (Hollyn and Brennan point out they also can do this. I think Asher doesn't care about trying. He lacks the competitve gene.) That one time Hollyn was on her way to a pre-baptism photo shoot and vomited all over her pretty dress, her book of mormon, her piano music, and all sorts of other fun contents in the car....

...Got baptized! I got one picture. ONE. Of the whole event. No family pictures, none of her in her pretty dress that Grandma Winegardner made, just this. At least she's adorable. :-/ It was a very nice day. I knew it would be fine, but not sure what level of uncomfortable it would be to mix old and new families. Including Brian, his parents, and Nate's parents. All at a gathering at my parents' house. Not weird at all, right? But it worked out just fine, nice even. The Stevensons and Winegardners chatted about the best places in IF for the latter to check out as they intend to move there in a few months. But enough about them, let's talk about Hollyn! This girl of mine is so cool. Way cooler than I ever was. Her teachers and peers love her because she's friendly and happy. She is kicking it at gynmastics and keeps up with her brothers with a fierce capacity to somehow be both cute and tiny, and strong and able. She was delighted to get to be baptized last ...
